The Houston Cellar Classic is the city’s premier outdoor celebration of food and wine, with more than 100 wines on hand for sampling and some of Houston’s best chefs battling it out for the People’s Choice Award.

12 p.m.–4 p.m. Saturday, November 9. Houston Cellar Classic is a come-and-go-style event. We encourage you to arrive within the first two hours of the event to ensure you enjoy as many wines and bites as possible.

This event will he held rain or shine.

All net proceeds of the Houston Cellar Classic will benefit Genesys Works, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting underserved teens with valuable corporate job experience in order to break the cycle of poverty and prepare the next generation of Houston business leaders.

We encourage closed-toe shoes as there are high volumes of attendees in confined spaces at the same time. Lightweight/comfortable attire allows for maximum comfort while moving from indoor to outdoor spaces. Also, don’t forget your sunglasses: Beautiful weather is always on tap for Houston Cellar Classic!

Bring a photo ID, tickets, cell phone in case you lose your friend, sunglasses, small umbrella in case of rain, and form of payment.

Lot parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots are available in the surrounding parking lots and street. Complimentary valet will be available for guests attending the tasting. We encourage our guests to carpool due to the high volume of attendees. Handicap-accessible parking is available, as well.

General Admission guests will enjoy wine tastings, food from participating restaurants, live music, and Riedel stemware.

VIP admission guests will enjoy all General Admission wines, PLUS up to 40 additional VIP wines and bubbles (that’s 100+ wines total!). Access to all food from participating restaurants, as well as gourmet VIP-only food pairings, live music and Riedel stemware. VIP tasting tables, as well as private bathrooms will be located inside.

Live entertainment will be available to all. Returning for their fourth year by popular demand will be The Revelators.

Tickets are available for purchase at The Tasting Room or online through EventBrite. Day-of ticket sales are available by cash or credit card, but ticket availability may be limited. Please check our website as there’s a chance this event will be sold out.

If you purchased your tickets in-store you will need to bring your paper ticket to the event. If you purchased tickets online you can either print your ticket receipt or show it on your phone.

HCC tickets are only valid for this specific event but may be given to a family/friend if you cannot attend. Tickets are non-refundable, but may be used by a family/friend if you cannot attend. The ticket purchaser’s name need not match the event attendee’s name, but if you are transferring ownership of your ticket, we ask that the original attendee emails us at marketing@lascoent.com to confirm the transfer of the ticket.

While the list will not be finalized until the week of the event, to ensure we bring you the latest and greatest sips, click HERE to review last year’s tasting sheet. One sample per person, please.

Each sample wine will be available for purchase at a special price through a retail partner.

In addition, there will be up to 12 popular Houston-based restaurants participating in the event. Dishes such as Duck Confit, Bison Sliders with hand-cut chaat masala fries, Pumpkin Risotto, Coffee Crusted Pork Tenderloin and more, were served at least year’s HCC and are sure to excite your palate. One sample per person, please.

We encourage guests to arrive early so you can ensure you get to taste all samplings, as well as vote on your favorite dish for the “People’s Choice” award. Restaurants are asked to provide enough food so each guest can get one sample. Please help us ensure everyone can enjoy the event to its fullest by accommodating our one sampling per person request. If you have specific allergies, please ask the restaurant before sampling their food what all is in their dish. Vegetarian option(s) cannot be guaranteed as each restaurant will prepare one dish for sampling. The age requirement is 21+ only due to the nature of the event. A valid ID is needed to enter. If we cannot verify your age, you will not be allowed into the event. Anyone under the age of 21 cannot consume alcohol and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We discourage you from bringing infants or small children in child carriers as this is an adult-focused event.

Only registered service animals with proper documentation will be allowed on premise.
